Join the discussion in Halt the Harm Network to connect with experts and explore further information on this topic.
For more than a century, the fossil fuel industry has spent billions to convince us dirty, dangerous methane gas is “natural,” safe, and clean. Gas Leaks is a new campaign launched to transform the narrative about fracked gas by telling the truth about how this deadly disinformation is harming our communities and heating our planet. The campaign uses inventive storytelling, video content, and social media materials to highlight the dangers of fracked gas.
Caleb Heeringa, Gas Leaks’ Campaign Director, joined us to discuss the campaign and how you can use its media assets to help fight the gas industry. He also discussed their research into what types of messaging and communications are effective to shift hearts and minds on fracked gas and share Gas Leaks resources that can be used in local gas campaigns.
