Note our pre-conference activities on Oct 14 include a Pipeline Safety 101 session for members of the public newer to the topic as well as a boat tour addressing pipeline safety issues in wetlands, marshes, coastal, and marine environments.

About the conference:

Each year since 2006 the Pipeline Safety Trust has hosted pipeline safety conferences, making this our 20th year. What makes Pipeline Safety Trust conferences unique among pipeline conferences is the diverse mix of attendees, including the affected public, the pipeline industry, union representatives, and government regulators. These individuals come together to discuss the barriers to safer pipelines. Through this collaborative approach, the conference promotes better understanding and trust between these groups, enabling us to move forward together in our mutual goal of making pipelines as safe as possible. Pipeline Safety Trust is grateful for the federal grant that helps pay for this conference.

This year we are offering pre-conference activities on Wednesday Oct. 14, ahead of the main conference taking place on Thursday Oct. 15 and Friday Oct. 16.
