Turn your expertise into a clear, actionable service for the movement without burning out.
You have knowledge others in the movement need. You can share insight from frontline fights, campaigns you’ve shaped, or experience navigating systems that confuse most people. The problem is, that knowledge often stays locked away in conversations, inboxes, or behind a fog of informal offers.
This is a 1:1 consultation and service design session to shape your expertise into a focused, useful offering that grassroots leaders can access without friction, confusion, or burnout on your part.
Who should offer services?
- Grassroots leaders who understand local politics, local media and influencers
- Organizers, researchers, or advocates who regularly get asked for advice or support
- People with campaign-tested tools, tactics, or strategies to share
- Experts tracking topics others struggle to understand (policy, permitting, enforcement, organizing, etc.)
- Community leaders who know what messages work and fall flat on outreach efforts to young folks, labor, farmers, bar room debates, or kitchen table politics
- Anyone ready to help others but unsure how to offer that help in a clear, structured way that makes the best use of everyone’s time and effort.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this about building a business or making money?
No—this is about helping people like you make existing good work visible, usable, and scalable across the movement. It’s designed to help you share knowledge without burnout, not create new revenue streams.
How much time will I need to commit to offering my service?
You decide! During the pilot design phase, we’ll work together to define exactly how much time you can commit, whether that’s 2 hours a month or 10 hours a quarter. The service is designed around your capacity.
What if I’m not sure what my expertise is?
That’s exactly what the discovery interview is for. Marty helps you identify your ‘service superpower’ by exploring what people ask you for, what you love helping with, and where your work makes the biggest difference.
Will I have to manage applications and scheduling myself?
No—part of the service includes building user screening logic and intake processes. Marty handles pilot cohort recruitment and helps set up systems to manage demand without overwhelming you.
What happens after the pilot program?
You’ll receive feedback analysis and optimization suggestions. If you want to continue offering the service, you can scale it based on what you learned. If not, you’ll have helped test a valuable resource for the movement.
What is this service NOT designed for?
This service is focused and specific. It’s not:
- Replacement for existing work or commitments
- Long-term consulting or campaign management
- Creating ongoing business or marketing systems
- Business development or revenue optimization
