You probably know this…
It’s not enough to educate – we need to mobilize action
There are many ways to educate about the harms of oil & gas, but without effective framing and calls to actions we might struggle to get participation we need to win campaigns.
An effective call to action will:
- Choosing an effective messenger
- Framing the issue in ways people relate to
- Counteracting oil & gas industry talking points
I’m looking forward to introducing you to Carina and hearing more about the Climate Advocacy Lab and their many resources as well.
As always, there will also be plenty of room for discussions about how we can apply research about climate advocacy to our anti-oil and gas advocacy and the potential for collaboration with the Lab on future projects.
