Congratulations to this year’s Community Sentinel Awardees!

Here’s to ending the week on a high note! We are so excited to share with you all that two of your very own, Halt the Harm Network leaders, have been honored by the FracTracker Alliance’s annual Community Sentinel Awards: Ranjana Bhandari from Arlington, Texas and Frank Finan from Hop Bottom, Pennsylvania. The third recipient is Ray Kemble from Montrose, Pennsylvania.

Screen Shot 2017 10 06 at 10.04.25 AMAn annual event, the Community Sentinel Awards for Environmental Stewardship recognizes three individuals who have displayed dedication to fighting to protect the environment and communities from the harms from extraction and encourage a national transition to safer renewable forms of energy.

The awardees will be honored at an event in Pittsburgh on November 18th, to be held during Stop the Frack Attack’s national conference. Make sure to buy your ticket for the event today -- it will be a celebration of the blood, sweat and tears of the work that leaders like Ranjana, Frank and Ray have put into halting the harms of fracking in their local communities and beyond.
